The Legion of Super-Pets is a team of super-powerful sentient animals appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, usually associated with the Superman Family and the Legion of Super-Heroes, that fight crime together. The team was created by Jerry Siegel and Curt Swan and made its first appearance in Adventure Comics #293 (1962). The original membership included Krypto the Superdog, Ace the Bat-Hound, Streaky the Supercat, Beppo the Super-Monkey, and Comet the Super-Horse, with the shape-shifting alien Proty II later joining.
