Lisa LaTrelle Blunt Rochester (née Blunt;[1] February 10, 1962) is an American politician who is the junior United States Senator from Delaware since 2025. She was the U.S. Representative for Delaware's at-large congressional district from 2017 to 2025. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

In June 2023, Blunt Rochester announced her candidacy for the United States Senate in the 2024 election to replace Tom Carper.[2] She won the election in November 2024. She will be the first woman and person of color to represent Delaware in the Senate.[3][4]
