List of Islamic texts

The Qur'an (القرآن الكريم): The central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be the word of God as revealed to Muhammad.
Tafsir (تفسير): Commentaries and interpretations of the Quranic verses. Some famous tafsir include:
- Tafsir al-Jalalayn
  The Holy Qur'an
  Tafsir Ibn Kathir
- Tafsir al-Qurtubi
Seerah (السيرة النبوية): Biographies of Muhammad. One of the most famous is "Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum" (The Sealed Nectar).
Fiqh (الفقه): Islamic jurisprudence or the understanding of Islamic law. Some major schools of thought include:

- Maliki
- Shafi'i
- Hanbali
Hadith Qudsi (الحديث القدسي): Sacred sayings of Muhammad in which he relates the words of Allah.
