Lok Ningthou is a God in Meitei mythology and religion of Ancient Kangleipak. He is the God of brooks, gorges, ravines, rills, rivulets, runnels and streams. He is the Guardian God of the Southern direction. He is a son of Wangbren (Old Manipuri: Wangpulen), the God of water.[1][2]
