Mo Yun-tuan (Chinese: 莫運端; pinyin: Mò Yùnduān; 11 May 1928 – 19 March 2018), known by the pen name Luo Fu (洛夫; Luòfū), was a Taiwanese writer and poet. He was born in Hengyang, Republic of China.[1][2]
In Taiwan, Mo published several collections of poetry.[1][3] Mo and his contemporary Yu Kwang-chung were described as the Gemini of Chinese poetry, in reference to the constellation depicting the mythological twins Castor and Pollux.[1] Mo left Taiwan for Canada in 1995.[4]
In June 2016, Mo was diagnosed with lung cancer.[4] He died of respiratory failure on 19 March 2018 in Taipei, aged 89.[5]
