Memorial (Russian: Мемориал, IPA: [mʲɪmərʲɪˈaɫ]) was a Russian human rights organisation.[1]
On 28 December 2021, the Supreme Court of Russia ordered the origanisation to close for violations of the foreign agent law.[2][3] On 7 October 2022, Memorial Society was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.[4]
