The Minnesota Lynx are an American professional basketball team. They are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Lynx play basketball in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). They are in the WNBA's Western Conference. When they play basketball in Minneapolis, the Lynx play at Target Center. The team won the 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017 WNBA Championships.
The team was made in 1999. It is one of the eight original WNBA teams. The Lynx are related to the Minnesota Timberwolves, a basketball team in the NBA.[4][5] The team has had many good basketball players, such as Lindsay Whalen, Rebekkah Brunson, Seimone Augustus, and Teresa Edwards.
All 12 WNBA teams will have two core uniforms. For the Lynx, the Icon Edition colors are primarily the team's Lake Blue, with accents of the Midnight Blue (navy) and Moonlight Grey. The full design and innovation story behind the new Nike WNBA uniforms, as well as the Statement Edition uniforms, will be unveiled in late April.
