James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson[b] (born May 7, 1998), more commonly known as MrBeast, is an American YouTuber. He is known for his expensive stunts and philanthropy.[13] He is the most subscribed creator on YouTube, passing T-Series on June 1, 2024.[14] He has been seen as the creator of a new genre of YouTube videos that are expensive stunts.[15]

He is also the co-creator of Team Trees, a fundraiser for the Arbor Day Foundation which has raised over $24 million,[16][17] and Team Seas, a fundraiser for Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup.[18]
