Peter Francis Straub (/straʊb/; March 2, 1943 – September 4, 2022)[1] was an American novelist and poet. He wrote Julia, Ghost Story, and The Talisman.
Straub died at a hospital in New York City on September 4, 2022, aged 79, from problems caused by a broken hip.[2]
