Roehampton is a small suburban village in Southwest London. Historically Roehampton was a wealthy town. Some of the great mansions of the 1700s are now used by colleges of the University of Roehampton.[1] The university was founded in 2004. In 2007 the National Tennis Centre was set up in Roehampton. It has 22 courts and is a training facility for some of Britain's top tennis players.[2] It also hosts the qualifying rounds for the Wimbledon championships.[3] The Priory Hospital at Roehampton is a mental health hospital. It is internationally known for the treatment of celebrities with various addictions.[4]
