The title of Senator of the College of Justice refers to a judge of the Court of Session, the supreme civil court of Scotland. Senators also serve as judges of the High Court of Justiciary, the supreme criminal court of Scotland. Collectively, they form part of the College of Justice, which was established in 1532 by King James V of Scotland.[1]
