Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter is an action video game. It was both published and developed by LucasArts.[1]
The game was released on March 11, 2002 in North America and on March 28, 2002 in Europe for the PlayStation 2. It was also released on May 14, 2002 in North America and on May 31, 2002 in Europe for the Xbox.[2][3] On November 17, 2015, a PlayStation 4 console bundle for Star Wars Battlefront was released and included Jedi Starfighter.[4]
The game is set both before and during the Battle of Geonosis. In the game, the player plays as Adi Gallia, a Jedi Master and Nym, a pilot. They are ordered by the Jedi Council to be the new pilots of the recently introduced Jedi Starfighter. The player destroys enemy spacecraft and trys to protect their allies spacecraft.[5]
It is the sequel to the 2001 game Star Wars: Starfighter was released on February 21, 2001.[6]
