Timothy Donald "Tim" Cook (born November 1, 1960) is the chief executive officer of Apple Inc..[1] He joined the company in March 1998.[2] On August 24, 2011, he was made the CEO of Apple after the resignation of Steve Jobs, who died on October 5, 2011 from pancreatic cancer.
