Huruma

Huruma na Ukweli vikiwa pamoja katika mchoro huu mdogo wa karne ya 13 kuhusu Zaburi 85:10.

Huruma (kutoka neno la Kiarabu) ina maana ya wema ulio tayari kusaidia na kusamehe.[1][2]

Sifa hiyo kwanza ni wa "Mungu" kadiri ya dini mbalimbali, zikiwemo Uyahudi,[3] Ukristo[4] na Uislamu.[5]

Katika karne ya 20, iliyojaa ukatili wa vita vingi, sifa hiyo imezingatiwa zaidi katika ibada kwa Huruma ya Mungu.[6][7]

Kutokana na imani hiyo, binadamu pia anapaswa kuwa na huruma na kutekeleza matendo ya huruma ya kiroho na ya kimwili.[8][9][10][11]

Hata katika jamii, huruma inahitajika katika mahusiano yoyote pamoja na haki.[1][2]

Yesu alitangaza (Math 5:7), "Heri wenye huruma, maana hao watapata huruma" (kutoka kwa Mungu).[4][12]

Mara nyingi Liturujia inamlilia Mungu awe na huruma.[13]
