The twenty-third season of American Idol is set to premiere on March 9, 2025, on the ABC television network.[1][2] Ryan Seacrest will return as host; Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie will return as judges, with season four winner Carrie Underwood replacing Katy Perry as a judge.[3]
