Frozen 3, stylized as Frozen III, is an upcoming American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The third installment in the Frozen film series, it will be directed by Jennifer Lee and Marc Smith, with Idina Menzel and Josh Gad set to reprise their respective voice roles as Elsa and Olaf from the previous two films.
Development on a third Frozen film was announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger in February 2023, with Menzel and Gad set to return though Lee initially stated in June that she would not return to direct. Lee eventually decided to direct the film in September 2024, with her co-directing it alongside Marc Smith. She is also set to serve as writer and executive producer on the film.
Frozen 3 is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on November 24, 2027.
