FaZe Clan, or simply FaZe, is a professional esports and entertainment brand. Founded on May 30, 2010, as FaZe Sniping, the organization has professional players and content creators from around the world, across multiple games.[4]
In October 2023, an agreement was announced for FaZe Clan's parent company FaZe Holdings to be acquired by GameSquare in an all stock deal.[5] In May 2024, GameSquare announced the formation of a new company, FaZe Media, led by Richard "FaZe Banks" Bengtson. This formation spins off FaZe Holdings into an esports company, and an internet media company.[6]
