Joshua the son of Jehozadak (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁוּעַ Yəhōšūaʿ ), also spelled Yeshua or Jeshua (Hebrew: יֵשׁוּעַ Yēšūaʿ ) was the first High Priest during the reconstruction of the Jewish Temple after the return of the Jews from the Babylonian Captivity.[1]
