Monte A. Dolack (born May 23, 1950)[7] is an American graphic artist who lives in Missoula, Montana. Frommer's called him "one of the best-known artists in Montana."[8] He works primarily in watercolor, acrylic paint, poster art, and lithographs.[9] Dolack's work often features whimsical animals in both a natural and artificial setting (such as a suburban living room), and has a worldwide following.[10] Dolack is considered a key figure in the visual arts of the American West.[11]
Widely known in his home state of Montana,[9][12] Dolack has had his work exhibited worldwide.[13] Some of his work is highly collectible.[9]
