Shahrazad Ali (born April 27, 1954) is an American author of several books, including a paperback called The Blackman's Guide to Understanding the Blackwoman.[1][2][3] The book was controversial bringing "forth community forums, pickets and heated arguments among Black people in many parts" of the United States when it was published in 1989.[4][5][1]
