The Tarapith Rampurhat Development Authority (TRDA) is responsible for planning and development in Rampurhat and nearby rural areas in Birbhum district, West Bengal, India, mainly to promote religious tourism such as Tarapith Temple, Ekachakra Dham. It was formed in 2015 and works under the Department of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Government of West Bengal.[1] TRDA oversees urban planning, infrastructure development, and fosters sustainable growth in the region, covering both the Rampurhat Municipality and the Tarapith Temple Area.
The office of TRDA is located in the Birbhum Zilla Parishad Building, near the Tarapith Police Station, P.O. Tarapith, District - Birbhum, PIN - 731233.
